Super7 has released a really cool ReAction Rock action figure of the North American punk rock band Green Day.
The band has 3 members: Billie Joe Armstrong (guitar and vocals), Mike Dirnt (bass and vocals) and Tré Cool (drums) and was officially formed, under the name Green Day, in 1989.
The Green Day “Dookie Dog” ReAction Figure captures the dog appearing in a television animation, and then running through the house, during the Longview music video directed by Mark Kohr. The dog is also on the cover of the 1994 album “Dookie”, where he appears throwing poop in various situations and flying the plane.
The cover was created by illustrator Richie Bucher, who is also a bassist for a band, and depicts a busy street called Telegraph Avenue, in Berkeley, California, full of street vendors, street punks, tourists and chaotic characters, reflecting the environment and spirit of the time and the region where the band was located. He also inserted several musical and cultural references with tributes to bands like Ramones and AC/DC. See other curiosities on the Green Day das Antigas website.
The Green Day “Dookie Dog” ReAction comes with two special accessories, a cream pie and a dog turd that fits into the dog’s paw. The retro-styled model measures approximately 9.5 cm (3.75″) tall and has 5 points of articulation. It has been officially licensed and comes in blister packaging with art inspired by the cover of the band’s third studio album.
A action figure Green Day “Dookie Dog” ReAction custa US$25 na Super7 Store ou na Entertainment Earth.
