Loungefly has launched an incredible mini-backpack created especially for fans of the classic children’s book Where the Wild Things Are, written and illustrated by American author Maurice Sendak in 1963.
The Where the Wild Things Are Mini-Backpack reproduces the style of the book’s illustrations with embroidered vegetation, appliquéd palm trees and young boy Max, in his wolf costume, interacting with the monster Carol. The side pockets come with two other monsters, also in appliqués, and the rest of the backpack has an intertwined, embossed pattern, like “basketweave” in the basketry style found in braided baskets. The zipper comes with a metal “charm” pendant molded into the shape of Max’s golden King of the Wild Things crown.
The mini backpack is made from 100% polyurethane with adjustable straps and applique, embossed, appliqué, metal, embroidered, textured and printed details. It has an internal lining with a monster pattern. It is officially licensed and measures 22.86 cm by 26.67 cm by 11.43 cm.
The Where the Wild Things Are Mini-Backpack costs US$90 at the Loungefly Store or Entertainment Earth, which accepts orders from Brazil.
