
It’s Mario’s birthday! The mustaches conductor has been 40 years this weekend and Nintendo has been in a climate of celebration. The last Direct was full of Mario things, from relaunch to a whole new tennis game, but things haven’t been there. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

First, we have some issues related to a ticket for the 40th anniversary of the Nintendo Museum in Japan and a reminder about the Mario theme park at the Epic Universe in Florida. But let’s go to video games! Or rather, news about movies. Yes, we have a name for the sequel to Mario’s movie, officially called The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and a first trailer.

Two of Mario’s best adventures, Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, are being grouped for switch and switch 2 – so if you want to relive the good old days or try them for the first time, you have your opportunity here. The package arrives digitally on October 2, with a physical release below, and two Mario Galaxy themed Amiibo are also scheduled for next year.
Mario Tennis Fever Switch 2

If you are a fan of Mario Tennis games, you will be happy to know that another game is on their way – this time to Nintendo’s latest console. It has 38 characters – the largest number of the series in the series, apparently – and a series of different modes, including online options, and an adventure mode with Mario babies. The game will be released on February 12 next year.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder Switch 2 upgrade

The deliciously crazy super Mario Bros. Wonder is the latest Switch 1 game to receive an update for Switch 2. In addition to the excellent base adventure we’ve seen earlier, it includes a new mode called Meetup in Bellabell Park. It is essentially a world full of mini games where players can work with or against their friends. Nintendo is also preparing other new content to be revealed later and, if this is interesting, will be released in the spring next year. Oh, and there is also a new Talking Flower toy.
Yoshi Switch 2

The ever -lovely Yoshi is back with another new adventure. This time, the green dinosaur and his friends were sucked into a kind of magical book where players can experience an “adventure to turn the page” full of classic side travel platforms. It’s called Yoshi and the MySterious Book and will be released on Switch 2 on the next “Spring”.

And with the news about Mario already presented, Nintendo started its Direct with a quick presentation of the game Storm Lancers, by Producer Probablymonsters. It is an adventure RogueLike set in realm-inspired kingdoms of the 80s, playable both solo and cooperative mode, which will be released today to the switch.

If there is still room in your agenda for another life simulator, you know Dinkum, the adventure focused on Krafton’s survival. The game will reach the switch soon, but a demo is now available at ESHOP.

Hades 2, the sequel to Supergent’s very appreciated RogueLike adventure, is finally leaving anticipated access and will reach Switch 2-25. This is the release at eShop, but if you want a physical version, it arrives on November 20 this year.
But Amiibo!
If you don’t get tired of seeing these happy figures, you have some Kirby options waiting for you, all of them arrive with (and compatible with) Kirby Air Riders on November 20th. One package includes Kirby and his star -shaped vehicle, while the other includes Waddle Dee bandana and his knight. Nintendo also said that another Kirby Air Riders Direct is on their way.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment – the third game in the Koei Tecmo hack -and -slash series on Zelda (this time set in the story of Tears of the Kingdom) – has a release date. It will reach Switch 2-6 November and pre-reservation start today.
Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined

If you like classic action RPGs, then you have Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined. As the name suggests, it is a remake of the classic PlayStation adventure, first released in 2000, and will reach Switch 2-5 February next year.
Virtual Boy Switch e Switch 2

After a brief update on the Nintendo App and its new Kirby theme, the time has come for some retro games. From February 17 next year, Switch subscribers + expansion package on switch and switch 2 can play some virtual boy titles with 14 confirmed games. It will be necessary to buy a dedicated accessory to play in 3D, as initially expected, but the details about it will be released later.
Fatal Frame 2 remake

Finally, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which apparently includes Samus in a motorcycle, has a release date. It will be launched on December 12, 2025, with three confirmed amiibo.
