Final Fantasy surpasses 203 million copies sold worldwide
Final Fantasy follows as one of the most iconic franchises in the game industry, keeping new releases to the present day, receiving games for the main line of the series or with spin-offs.
Recently, Square Enix has updated the franchise’s sales numbers. According to the company, Final Fantasy has already surpassed the 203 million units sold worldwide.

The group has a valuable portfolio of intellectual properties, including: Final Fantasy, which has sold over 203 million units worldwide; Dragon Quest, with over 94 million units sold globally; and the legendary Space Invaders. ”
The latest sales update had been made in March this year, when the franchise registered 200 million copies sold. That means more 3 million units They were sold in the last four months, even without any major unheard of the franchise.
