On July 25, a new UK law entered into force, requiring identity verification to access certain websites, including gaming platforms, to protect children from harmful content.
However, players quickly found a way to circumvent the check system. In this case, players found that Death Stranding 2’s photo mode can be used to circumvent the system.
Developer Dany Sterkhov revealed on Twitter/X that he used the photo mode to capture the face of Sam Bridges, the game’s character, and circumvent the facial verification of Discord.

Although it is curious, it also reveals the ease and quickness of finding this breach in the law. It has not been confirmed if this works with all games.
Dany Sterkhov’s publication has spread quickly throughout the internet and is now circulating around the world. It is capable that changes are made.
