Spartacus: House of Ashur will be a 10-episode spin-off, imagining an alternative story where Ashur survives the Spartacus: Vengeance events. He assumes the place of Batiatus as responsible for the gladiator school, training new champions.
The creators promise to maintain the essence of the original series, with violence and political intrigue, while adding news, such as the first gladiator woman in the universe.
Spartacus: House of Ashur is scheduled to debut next Brazilian summer.
