Scott Pilgrim fans have reasons to cheer up as a new game is under development. Titled Scott Pilgrim Ex, the game is being developed by Tribute Games in partnership with Bryan Lee O’Malley, the creator originates from the series.
During San Diego Comic Con 2025, we had the first official gameplay of the game being presented. The video features the protagonists, Scott and Ramona, facing hordes of robot and human enemies in the most diverse types of scenarios.
Scott Pilgrim Ex is an action and adventure game that has a totally unpublished story. Players will be able to control Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers and other characters, being able to play both or with friends in multiplayer cooperative mode, both local and online, allowing up to four players to enter the action.
Make stylish combos, try crazy weapons, and release exaggerated special attacks. The characters can be improved with special insignia that increase their attributes and grant unique bonuses. Players will explore an entire city with interconnected levels to find known and new faces, complete missions and discover secret areas.
Scott Pilgrim Ex will be released in 2026 for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | s.
