While Sony starts plans to launch its games on new platforms, such as Xbox, Microsoft’s multiplatform strategy is in full swing with titles already available on PS5 and switch.
In recent months, several major titles, which have been available only on Xbox on consoles, have been released to the Sony console. However, there seems to be two more games in progress.
As discovered by the MP1ST portal, Gears of War E-Day and State of Decay 3 will be released for PS5. The information comes from the curriculum of a game designer that lists PS5 as one of the target platforms.

Despite the rich discovery, it is unclear whether the release on PS5 will be simultaneous to Xbox or later. Gears of War: E-Day has release designed for 2025, while State of Decay 3 can be postponed to 2026 due to Undead Labs layoffs.
Ports ads for PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 may appear on Gamescom 2025 (August 20-24). Other titles like Starfield and Halo: The Master Chief Collection may also receive Ports to PS5.
