During San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Friday 13 fans had many exciting news. In addition to a new trailer for the franchise film project, we also had the confirmation of a new game.
The announcement was made by Robbie Barsamian, who acts as vice -president (VP) of Horror, Inc., a company that holds the rights of the Friday the 13th franchise. During the event, he said a new game is in “Top of your list” of priority.
“I can say that a new sequence movie and a new game are at the top of our list. That’s where most of our energy is going to the moment. And I can finally say that we are in a position to do it.
Although we are not officially announcing with our partners today, both are coming. Both are under development and both will come. ”
While fans await news from the new movie and game, the team shared the first trailer for Sweet Revengea short film that promises to honor the original movie, being scheduled to premiere on August 13.

Sweet Revenge will be a smaller project, being done directly to YouTube, giving fans news of the franchise while waiting for the future series Crystal Lake and the new movie.
