Available in the market since June 1, 2023, Diablo IV stands out as one of the last major releases of Blizzard Entertainment, which has been facing challenges in keeping active players.
However, very soon, Diablo IV should receive an increase in the counting of players, as the title is finally on their way to China, after approval by the country’s national press administration and publication.
Diablo IV was one of seven foreign games approved in July, along with 127 Chinese games, in a year with a record of 62 foreign games released.
Blizzard has renewed its partnership with Netease to bring games like World of Warcraft and Diablo Immortal back to China in 2024.
Games like Hearthstone, World of Warcraft and Diablo, are extremely popular in the Chinese market, with over 2 million players returning to the World of Warcraft in 2024.
Anyway, Blizzard and Netease have not yet announced an official release date for Diablo IV in China.
