Claws of Awaji, expansion of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, arrives in September

Launched in March 2025, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is now available to players and their first history expansion, under the name of Claws of Awaji, is coming.

Today Ubisoft has officially confirmed that the first history expansion of Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be officially launched on September 16, 2025. It will be available at no cost to those who pre-sell the base game.

Another important point observed by Ubisoft is that Claws of Awaji will only be released after completing the main story of the base game. There will be more than 10 hours of content, with new missions, set on the island of Awaji.

In addition, the new game+ arrives on July 29th. After finishing the main story, you will be able to restart the campaign by maintaining level, equipment, skill points, knowledge rank, and hideout progress. It will be possible to start over from the beginning or jump straight to after the prologue, and the tutorials will not appear again.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is now available for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S | x. The game should also win a Switch 2 version.
