As revealed, Genshin Impact has reached over 300 million individual players worldwide. The data were presented at the Shanghai Top Anime IP Selection event of 2025.
As it would be no surprise, the disclosed data also reveal that 50% of players are from China, while the remaining 50% are from other (international) countries.
About 70% of players are between 18 and 30 years old, with strong Z engagement. 60% of players are men and 40% are women, with the proportion of players growing.
Almost half of players live in first -level or equivalent cities, and many have income available above average cities, indicating appeal among audiences with higher purchasing power.
Even available 5 years ago, Genshin Impact follows firm and strong, receiving several content updates with unpublished playable events and characters.
Genshin Impact is available for free for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, iOS and Android, with a version for Nintendo Switch under development.
