In May 2024 there was the official launch of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, the long -awaited sequence of Hellblade: Senua’s sacrifice, with both developed by the Ninja Theory.

Microsoft, as well as its game studios, did not disclose sales number, so there is no data on how many copies Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II sold. However, a report from the Ninja Theory reveals that the game did well.

The Ninja Theory Fiscal Report for 2024 shows an increase in revenue, pushing rumors that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II has failed commercially.

“During the period, revenues were £ 24.5 million, representing an increase of 2.1% over the previous financial (2023: £ 24 million). This is a direct result of agreements between companies and is in line with commercial activity.”

“During the fiscal year, Ninja Theory had a strong focus on the development of Hellblade II, which was successfully released. The game received great returns from both critics and the public. There was a big hit in awards, with 2 wins in the game Awards, 2 Tiga awards and 10 nominations on the preliminary list of Bafta.”

In addition to sales of the game, Ninja Theory invoices internal services in the Microsoft ecosystem, such as movement capture, content production, support for other studios and development of shared technologies.

Remembering that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is expected to reach PS5 on August 12, 2025.
