We haven’t even premiered the fourth invincible season, but fans have reasons to celebrate, as the series will continue for a long time. Prime Video has just announced that the animated series was renewed for a fifth season.
The fourth season of invincible comes only in 2026, but being one of Amazon’s main projects, it was expected that a new season was more than right.
Recently commenting on the new season, the creator revealed that Matthew Rhys next to the cast of voices. Another news is that Thragg, the great villain of the work, will finally make his debut in season fourth.
“It would certainly be strange if [Thragg] It didn’t appear in the series. I mean, I don’t know. It is complicated. What I can say is this: it has already been cast and is amazing ”commented the showrunner.
Invincible is an animated series of superheroes aimed at the adult audience, created by Robert Kirkman and based on the homonymous comic he developed alongside Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley. The production premiered at Amazon Prime Video in March 2021.
The plot revolves around Mark Grayson, a seemingly ordinary teenager-with the exception of being the son of Omni-Man, the most powerful superhero on Earth. At the age of 17, Mark begins to manifest his own powers and adopts the code name Invincible. However, his journey as a hero soon takes unexpected directions as he discovers disturbing truths about his father and his alien origin.
