After revealing yesterday (15) a poster of the Mortal Kombat 2 movie with Karl Urban as Johnny Cage, Warner Bros. Now it has just brought an unprecedented video showing the character in action.
Teaser shows Johnny Cage on a scene in one of his movies within the universe titled Uncaged Fury. Karl Urban in the role of the character demonstrates his combat skills and his irreverent style, not very different from the fighter in the games.
The central narrative revolves around the Mortal Kombat Tournament, a climate confrontation between Earthrealm and Outworld. Earthrealm has lost nine times – another defeat means total invasion. In addition to the return of characters from the first movie, this sequence will introduce new names such as Johnny Cage, Kitana, Shao Kahn, Sindel, Quan Chi, Baraka, Jade and others.
Although some consider the actor very old for the role, in the video comments it seems that acceptance is much larger than before, with many stating that Teaser has managed to sell Karl Urban as Johnny Cage. And you, do you agree? Tell us below!
Mortal Kombat 2 is scheduled to debut in theaters on October 24, 2025, with an IMAX version.
