Silent Hill 2 Remake has been available on the market since October 2024, being an exclusive PlayStation 5 on consoles. However, such exclusivity is not permanent and should end in the coming months.

With the end of exclusivity with PlayStation 5, Konami is free to launch Silent Hill 2 Remake on new platforms, such as Xbox Series S | X and even Nintendo Switch 2.

The well -known insider Nate The Hate, which has an excellent host history, commented during a video Silent Hill 2 Remake should be released for Xbox Series S | x in 2026.

“It’s too early to say, because Silent Hill 2’s exclusive contract only ends at the end of October this year. If you go out on Switch 2 and Xbox, it can’t be announced until this contract is over in October. Then maybe arrive in 2026,” says Nate The Hate.

Remembering that weeks ago rumors emerged that Bloober Team is working with a DLC of content for Silent Hill 2 Remake, focused on the character Maria.

If this DLC is true, when Silent Hill 2 Remake reaches Xbox, it must be a “complete” version. Anyway, nothing has been confirmed so far.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is available for PC and PlayStation 5.
