
It’s time to put the volume on 11. Super7 has released two collections of Reaction Rock action figures with the members of the Heavy Metal band created for the musical comedy this is spinal TAP (this is spinal Tap), a false documentary “mockumentary” that satirizes the rock world.
Directed by Rob Reiner in 1984, the film follows the disastrous trajectory of the British group during a US tour, with caricatures and hilarious interviews, showing their commercial failures, constant changes of drummers and absurd letters.
The Tap Reaction Figures Wave 1 Spinal Collection captures the 3 main members of the fictional band: vocalist and guitarist David St. Hubbins Reaction with Pearly White Rock Clothing and White Base Guitar with Handle (Michael McKean); Solo guitarist Nigel Tufnel Reaction with sleeveless black-ray-shaped black t-shirt and strap-shaped guitar (Christopher Guest); Bassist Derek Smalls Reaction Dressed with a black leather harness with red pants and a bass electric blue with Harry Shearer.
The spinal TAP (None More Black) Reaction Figures Wave 2 collection portrays the three musicians David St. Hubbins, Nigel Tufnel and Derek Smalls with all black clothes and instruments in honor of the album “Smell The Glove”, which had a completely black cover without anything written or designed.
Nigel Tufnel: It’s like, how much more black could this be? And the answer is none. None more black.
Figures, in a 3.75 ”inch scale, measure approximately 9.5 cm in height, have 5 articulation points and were officially licensed. The figures come in individual, blister -type packaging with black back -funds cards decorated with the TAP spinal band logo.
Each Individual Action Figure of the Tap Reaction Figures Spinal Collection costs $ 20 in the pre-sale of Entertainment Earth, which accepts orders from Brazil.
