Player discovers hidden message in Silent Hill 2 ‘impossible’ to find! Check it out

Fortunately, Konami heard the fans’ prayers and decided to embark on this venture with the Bloober Team, which got the job done and brought a pleasant experience to the fans — of course, also adding some surprises to the package.

One of these surprises added by the Polish studio in the remake of Silent Hill 2 it was a hidden message hidden by Bloober Team studio. The game’s creative director, Mateusz Lenart, found it to be very difficult or almost impossible to be found.

Well, less than a month after the game’s debut, which took place on October 7th, a player went to Reddit to confirm that he had already found this hidden message in the remake of Silent Hill 2. Throughout the game in the remake of Silent Hill 2players can find 26 polaroid photos, with each of them having a number on one side and a photo with a message on the other.

However, some players were intrigued and confused by these images and tried to figure out how they fit into the story. On Reddit, the user DaleRobinson claims that he managed to discover the meaning behind these photos.

Each photo shows a series of objects — a building with six open windows, a door with three reflected edges, a church entrance with seven birds flying over it, and so on.

Bom, DaleRobinson realized that by taking each number and counting that many letters in the message of each photo, he could eventually spell out a message. For example: the photo marked with the number 23 shows a floor with eight bloody footprints, and the message “The old man is always prepared”. The eighth letter in that message is “A” (in the English sentence, in this case).

By putting all the letters in numerical order, the player discovered the hidden message in the remake of Silent Hill 2which says the following: “You’ve been here for two decades.”

After the mystery was solved, Lenart took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal that the Bloober Team found the puzzle too difficult to be discovered so quickly — but he knew it wouldn’t take long for players to decipher the message.

“I knew I wouldn’t stay hidden for long,” Lenart said. “There was a theory in our company that the puzzle might be too difficult. I really wanted to make it subtle when I was painting those pictures, I think the timing couldn’t be better for you to solve it. Congratulations.”
