LEGO Zelda finally arrived officially in Brazil. The set, which was one of the most desired by fans of building blocks and the Nintendo franchise, was launched last month worldwide, but is only now available in the company’s official stores in the country.

However, its value has attracted a lot of attention. It has an official price of R$2,999.99which is even common for sets of this size launched by the company. However, for that same amount, it is possible to buy even Nintendo’s current console: the Switch.

The value of the set allows you to buy Switch and two games from the franchise

Firstly, it must be said that it is common for certain LEGO sets, especially those with more than two thousand pieces, and which belong to highly sought-after collections, to have a high value. To give you an idea, Zelda it was one of the most used themes in the LEGO Ideas project, which promotes sets created by builders from all over the world, and which subsequently receive more than 10 thousand votes from the community created by the company.

However, what draws attention is that the price of the set launched in Brazil, which is R$ 2,999.99, costs more than Nintendo’s current and most “powerful” video game, which is the Switch OLED. Currently, the device has a price range that varies from R$2,000 to R$2,500 depending on the model, color, and even the game it includes.

Interestingly, the value of the LEGO Zelda Sacred Tree set is also more expensive than that of a Nintendo Switch along with two games from the franchise. This is because the most expensive game currently is The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomwhich costs R$357.99 on the official Nintendo store. The other games in the series have an average price of no more than R$300.

In other countries, the price of the set is a little cheaper than the console. In Europe, where the video game has had a price reduction this year, the Nintendo Switch OLED costs approximately 309.99 euros. The LEGO Zelda set costs 299.90 euros.

Set allows you to create two scenarios

One of the most attention-grabbing details in the LEGO Zelda Tree of Life set is the ability to assemble up to two versions of the iconic scene. With it, you can recreate both the environment of the game Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild.

Furthermore, what also arouses interest among fans is the number of minifigures included in the set, four in total. There are three of Link, from different games in the franchise, and one of Princess Zelda. Finally, there are also classic items such as the Ocarina of Time, the Hylian Shield, and the Master Sword.
