Episode 1 — Fears to Fathom: Home Alone

Launched in July 2021, Fears to Fathom: Home Alone is the first episode of the anthology and is available for free on Steam. It puts players in the role of a teenager named Miles who, after being left alone at home by his parents, begins to experience frightening events.

With a constant feeling of vulnerability, the episode explores the paranoia of being at home alone, especially at night, and how small events can trigger big fears. Certainly, the first-person perspective increases immersion even further and makes players pay attention to every sound and movement.

Episódio 2 — Fears to Fathom: Norwood Hitchhike

Em Fears to Fathom: Norwood Hitchhikethe second episode that was released in January 2022 and costs R$16.99 on Steamthe player takes control of a young girl named Holly who is returning home from a trip.

After an accident with her car in the middle of an isolated road, Holly is forced to hitchhike — a bad choice. Norwood Hitchhike explores fear of strangers and vulnerability in a helpless situation, as the protagonist tries to escape increasing danger in a truly hostile environment.

Episode 3 — Fears to Fathom: Carson House

The third episode was released in January 2023 and is called Carson House. O game, which also costs R$16.99 on Steamtakes players into an even more terrifying experience, this time from the perspective of Noah — a young man hired to take care of a wealthy businessman’s house.

Upon accepting the job of spending the night looking after the place, Noah soon realizes that something sinister is happening there. Carson House mixes elements of psychological horror with environmental exploration, bringing disturbing mysteries as the protagonist tries to survive in the businessman’s house.

Episódio 4 — Fears to Fathom: Ironbark Lookout

Launched in October 2023, Fears to Fathom: Ironbark Lookout is the first episode of the anthology to take the narrative away from an urban environment. Costing R$32.99 on Steamthe game puts players in the role of Jack Nelson, a 24-year-old guard who is transferred to a new outpost in the middle of the forest.

As he settles into his new home, he can’t shake the feeling that something is wrong — and little did he know what was happening at Ironbark State Park. As you walk through the dark forest there are some hints that not everything is as it seems and this looming sense of dread heightens the horror that was missing during the exterior parts of Carson House.

Episódio 5 — Fears to Fathom: Woodbury Getaway

Being the most recent game in the anthology, Fears to Fathom: Woodbury Getaway was released in September this year for R$32.99 on Steam and tells the story of Sydney Harper, a 23-year-old consultant who plans a weekend trip to Woodbury with her college friends.

The story of Woodbury Getaway it will really scare you and make you question which characters are trustworthy and which aren’t — and the plot twist at the end of the game also hits hard, as all the pieces were already there from the beginning just waiting to be connected.
