Mezco Toyz has put a Living Dead Dolls Presents doll up for pre-order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the classic film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, directed by Tobe Hooper in 1974.
The LDD Presents: Leatherface The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition transforms the 50-year-old maniac into an undead-style doll with accessories to replicate two looks from different moments in the film.
LDD Presents: Leatherface (1974) comes with two interchangeable heads: the “normal” Killing Mask human skin mask and the grotesque “Pretty Woman” mask with makeup and lipstick.
The doll comes dressed in striped fabric pants and shirt, as well as a blood-stained butcher’s apron to create the killer look and a dark blue jacket for the dinner outfit with the Pretty Woman mask.
The figure measures 26.7 cm tall, has 5 points of articulation and comes in collector’s packaging with a cut-out window. It has been officially licensed, is suitable for ages 15 and over and is considered a display item for collectors.
LDD Presents: Leatherface The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition costs US$65 on direct pre-order from Mezco Store or Entertainment Earth, which accepts orders from Brazil.
