Razer launches Kraken V4 headsets with immersive audio, retractable microphone and RGB

Razer announced on Tuesday (20) two new gaming headsets from the Kraken line, which feature immersive audio, a retractable microphone and RGB lighting, among other features. The models, one wireless and the other wired, will be on sale in Brazil at the end of the year..

The most advanced version, the Kraken V4 is compatible with PC, Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and mobile devices, and can connect to them via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (2,4 GHz) ou USB. It features a 40mm titanium driver and THX Spatial Audio technology with advanced 7.1 surround sound.

The HyperClear Super Wideband microphone captures a wider frequency range, ensuring clear and natural communication, remaining embedded in one of the shells when not in use. The headset also has an audio balance button for quick adjustments, mixing the volume of games and voice.

Another highlight is the Chroma RGB lighting in nine areas of the ear cups, allowing you to configure different effects compatible with more than 300 games and 500 devices, from 50 partner brands. Razer Kraken V4 has a suggested price of R$ 1,799.90 and premieres in Brazil in December.

Kraken V4 X

Completing the line, the brand introduced the Kraken V4 X, an option for gamers looking for a wired headset. It also features immersive audio features similar to the beefier versionincluding 40mm TriForce driver and 7.1 surround sound with true-to-life acoustics.

The version’s HyperClear Cardioid microphone is retractable and realizes improved voice capture, while the memory foam ear cushions covered with a hybrid material of fabric and synthetic leather offer more comfort and sound insulation while you play. Chroma RGB technology, in turn, allows you to customize the look of the accessory.
