First of all, know that The First Descendant offers several different heroes to play, with each of them having their own role, skills or equipment. At first, you can choose one of three options: Export, Ajax or Peak.

How to unlock new characters for free in The First Descendant?

If you are thinking about unlocking all characters in The First Descendant without spending a penny, know that you will have to work hard to achieve the feat — a lot indeed.

The crafting system can be accessed in Albion — the shooter’s general hub. Once there, open the map, go to the bottom left corner and look for Anais, the NPC responsible for creating new characters, weapons and ultimate outfits.

Some of the Descendants can only be unlocked at higher levels. For example, you will only be able to unlock Gley at level 94, since one of the requirements for creating his Catalyst is to defeat the Hanging Colossus. This, consequently, also involves expanding the map to different locations.

Remembering that it takes 400,000 gold to create a new character, but some of them also require 200,000 for each of the research steps.
