Gentle Giant Studios, in partnership with Diamond Select Toys, have released a new bust from the Godzilla Legends in 3D collection featuring the kaiju from the Japanese film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974) directed by Jun Fukuda, with special effects by Teruyoshi Nakano.
The Godzilla 1974 Legends in 3D Resin Bust captures the atomic monster with a design inspired by the look of the 1974 film with an open mouth showing teeth, dark gray skin and light gray dorsal fins. The kaiju stands on a pedestal base designed to resemble a tower of flames.
The bust, in 1:2 scale, is a limited edition of 1,000 numbered pieces, measures 24.13 cm (9.5″) tall and was officially licensed by the Toho studio. It is made of high quality resin with design by Joe Allard and sculpture by Rocco Tartamella. Comes with numbered certificate of authenticity and in a colorful collector’s box.
The Godzilla 1974 Legends in 3D Resin Bust costs US$200 in pre-order from the Diamond Select Store or from Entertainment Earth, which accepts orders from Brazil.
