Titan Forge Games surprised fans this Friday (12) by revealing the long-awaited Smite 2, sequel to the popular MOBA released in 2014. The game promises crossplay and shared progression between platforms such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam and Epic Games). The release date has not yet been announced.
Smite 2 maintains the essence of its predecessor, with combat, action and strategy now enhanced by Unreal Engine 5. In addition to customizing the gods, items will now have active skills, the “Conquest” map will offer competition for objectives and a changeable jungle.

According to the press office, the development of Smite 2 seeks to guarantee players’ investments in the original title. In other words, the history and achievements of users in the first Smite will be recognized later.

Spent gems can be used in the new game with up to 50% discount on purchases. The “Divine Legacy” system will award rewards based on players’ achievements, while badges will also be awarded based on achievements in the original Smite.
