Funko has put up for pre-sale a figure from its new Blockbuster Rewind line, in a classic VHS “clamshell” box, from the super award-winning film Forrest Gump – The Storyteller directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring in 1994.
The Forrest Gump Blockbuster Rewind Vinyl Figure captures the character played by Tom Hanks with a light suit and pants, blue checkered shirt and holding in his hand a box of chocolate with an orange ribbon “Life is like a box of chocolates: you never know what you will receive.”
There is a 1 in 6 chance of opening the box and finding the rare chase version featuring Forrest with racket and US ping pong uniform.
The doll comes inside a Blockbuster Rewind VHS clamshell box, imitating the film’s videotape box, and measures approximately 8.76 cm tall (3.45″). It is officially licensed and the plastic case is 14.85 cm high by 9 cm wide and 4 cm deep.
