VALORANT: Riot’s Social Impact Fund surpasses R$243 million mark

At the end of November, the Riot Games announced that its Social Impact Fund reached a significant milestone: more than US$50 millionabout R$ 243 million, raised since its creation in 2019. The initiative aims to support non-profit organizations and other causes with social impact around the world.

The fund allows users of Riot Games games, such as VALORANT, to expand their reach in social actions. Fundraising is done through the sale of skin packs. In VALORANT, 50% of the profit obtained from the Retribution Package is allocated to the Social Impact Fund.

The Retribution collection generated approximately US$15 millionabout R$72 million, between 2020 and 2023, according to Riot Games. In 2023, considering all initiatives, the Social Impact Fund (total) surpassed the mark of US$50 million raised.

Since the creation of the project, the money has been distributed to more than 450 organizations em 28 countries.
