Mattel encourages kids’ STEM learning with Hot Wheels and Monster High campaign

Mattel has embarked on a new project with coding specialists Tynker to help encourage kids to learn computer programming and engage with STEM subjects.

Brands such as Hot Wheels and Monster High will be coming on board, to provide kids with coding skills.

The partnership has been designed to provide children with access to STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) related activities, coding and computer science lessons.

So far, Mattel and Tynker have co-developed online coding courses based on characters and content from Hot Wheels and Monster High.

These will now be active on Tynker’s coding platform.

In addition, these courses will provide kids with interactive exercises, tutorials, creativity tools and puzzles designed to make programming fun.
