LEGO Avengers and LEGO Jurassic World video games to launch this year

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group have dated this year’s slate of LEGO video games, including titles based on Jurassic World and Marvel’s Avengers.

LEGO Jurassic World will feature gameplay based on the storylines of Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III and Jurassic World. The game will be on shelves from June 2015 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC.

Elsewhere, LEGO Marvel’s Avengers will allow fans to play through stories as characters from The Avengers and Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. The game is available from fall 2015 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC.

“We look forward to expanding the successful series with this very exciting line-up of new LEGO experiences for players of all ages to enjoy on console, handheld and mobile gaming devices.”

Tom Stone, managing director, TT Games: “This year will be the biggest yet for LEGO videogames with these incredible titles and several firsts for the series.

“TT Games are crafting humorous LEGO adventures, based on new stories and characters across some of the most well-known and iconic worlds.”

Also for 2015, LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin will arrive for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita on March 24th while The LEGO Movie Videogame and LEGO Batman: Beyond Gotham are heading to mobile devices.
