If you can name the great orators behind phrases such as "He’s quite nice looking, Richard Hammond, but he’s too little for me," then this might be the game for you.
Paul Lamond is gearing up for the release of a new trivia board game based on the BAFTA winning series, Gogglebox.
Inspired by the successful Channel 4 observational documentary, Gogglebox TV Trivia Game will challenge players to answer questions on the show’s cast, TV Trivia and ad breaks.
Multiple choice questions on the Goggleboxers themselves will include the likes of ‘Who said: “Did the Titanic actually happen?”, “The Queen is a Top Bird” or "[The Full Monty] is quite a simple routine, we could do that"?
Designed for up to four players, Gogglebox TV Trivia Game will hit retailers’ shelves this autumn, coinciding with the launch of season four of the hit show on Friday, September 26th.
The show will then run for 13 weeks through to December 19th.
“We are excited to bringing this fantastic game to the market at such a relevant time for Gogglebox,” said Richard Wells, sales director of Paul Lamond Games.
“The programme has a huge following and we hope fans of the series will enjoy the board game just as much.”
The TV show, from producers Studio Lambert follows families, couples and friends as they watch a variety of British programming.
Vickie O’Malley, MD of Rockpool Licensing, representatives of Gogglebox for Studio Lambert, added: “By the end of season three, Gogglebox boasted 2.7 million live viewers and an incredible 4.4 million when consolidated with catch-up TV.
“This represents spectacular growth season on season and we have every expectation that season four will deliver even more new Gogglebox fans.”
