The Toyology team is launching a Digital Xmas in July film, ‘the first ever one devoted to delivering digitally.’
There will be a maximum number of toys featured in the film and this will cover all price points and demographics.
Toyology will be filming using ‘a top class crew, a superb location and use the finest editors available to deliver fantastic footage’.
The finished Digital Xmas in July film will be placed onto digital media together with press releases and individual imagery for all the included products before being delivered to 50 key journalists by hand.
The box containing the footage, information and ‘Christmas goodies’ will be hand delivered to offices by Toyology’s own Santa.
Filming of Toyology’s Digital Xmas in July will take place the week commencing June 23rd and the cut off date for submitting samples to be featured is June 20th.
Deliveries of the film and Christmas box will start from July 1st.
"Character, Flair, Coiledspring, Micro-Scooters, Vivid, John Adams and Bananagrams are just some of the players getting behind this innovative event," said Toyology’s Peter Jenkinson.
"This digital styled Xmas in July has been on our minds for a while now and this year it felt like the perfect opportunity to get it done. I am however reluctant to dress as Santa."
