The creators of upcoming digital pet Animin have launched Figure Digital, London’s first dedicated virtual reality creative agency.
Figure Digital now incorporates specialist AR games development studio Figure Games, the team behind Animin.
The new agency has launched with the recent virtual Tesco’s supermarket experience on show at the TCC International Marketing Forum in Berlin.
“We really want to show clients what we are capable of achieving with virtual reality," said Figure Digital founder and managing director, Ben Paterson.
"The Tesco’s Pelé experience that we put together for TCC’s Solution Creation Centre is a great example of the type of cutting-edge VR brand-experiences we are able to create here at Figure Digital."
The new Figure Digital website, www.figuredigital.com, showcases recent successful marketing and gamification campaigns for a number of high-profile clients including Tesco’s, Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Courvoisier, Channel 4 and Russian retailer Okey.
“We plan to create virtual experiences for brands that advertisers could only have dreamed about only a few years ago,” added Paterson.
“We can now create 360-degree cinematic experiences and gamified interactive solutions that allow consumers to totally immerse themselves into a brand’s message.”
Figure Digital creative director and VR evangelist Joe Kletz said: “We strongly believe that in a world of rapidly changing technology, experience remains the foundation of all communication, and virtual reality is able to transmit a purer experience than any former medium.
“Whether it be a full-blown digital campaign or a component within a bigger picture, we are here to make it happen. We welcome you to the next mass media revolution.”
