Doctor Who and Big Bang Theory themed LEGO are one step closer to becoming a reality.
Having reached 10,000 supporters respectively on LEGO Cuusoo, the proposed sets are now both up for official review by the Cuusoo team.
The news follows reports that licensing conflicts between Doctor Who and LEGO had been resolved a few weeks ago, opening the floor to a plethora of Doctor who designs.
The proposed project, launched by Cuusoo member GlenBricker includes five LEGO Minifigures, a K-9 unit, three Daleks and the Tardis.
Several characters have been mocked up, including various Doctors. The project will narrow down its number of characters based on the results of a poll.
The set will now be included in the next LEGO review, slated for May. If the team deems the project as viable, it might become an official LEGO product.
Meanwhile, The Big Bang Theory themed LEGO set has also made it to the next stage.
Based on the popular American sitcom, the set represents the living room of Sheldon Cooper and Leonard Hofstadter.
The proposed set comes complete with the whole cast of characters including Howard, Bernadette, Amy, Sheldon, Leonard, Penny and Rajesh.
The set achieved its target of 10,000 supporters in under one month. But whether or not we will soon see toy shelves filled with LEGO Sheldon and the gang, remains to be seen.
