The Good Toy Guide donates toys to the Lister Hospital’s Children’s Ward

In the spirit of the season, the Good Toy Guide has offered to donate a collection of toys to the Lister Hospital’s children’s ward this Christmas.

The collection of toys were taken from those demonstrated by the team at this year’s Ideal Home Show, as well as brand new toys donated from: Playaway Case, Harumika from Bandai, Gibsons’ My World, Hama Beads, Babogbaby, Bizzy Bitz, Oidroids, Zoobookoo and Brainstorm.

Amanda Gummer from the Good Toy Guide, said: "We were delighted to be able to donate these toys to the children’s ward this Christmas.

"We really enjoyed visiting the children’s ward and we hope these toys will help put a smile on the children’s faces this Christmas."

The team’s initiative aims to help children spending the holiday season in the hospital celebrate Christmas this year.

Zoe Doherty, fundraiser for East and North Herts Hospital Charity, added: "It is never great for children having to stay in hospital over Christmas, so being able to hand out presents to our patients at this time of year, makes such a difference.

"We are so grateful to the Good Toy Guide for thinking of us and for donating such wonderful, good quality toys."
