Intelex sees ‘surge in demand’ for heatable toys

Heatable toy manufacturers, Intelex is reporting a ‘surge in demand’ for bespoke ranges of heatable plush toys.

Keen to meet the demand, the firm is enabling retailers to to get their hands on a range of the firm’s best-selling bands including Cozy Plush, Socky Dolls and Hooty, each with bespoke versions exclusive to their stores.

The Intelex Group emerged onto the heatable toy scene in 1995, with the Hot Pak. It ha since then branched into various lines of character driven products including boots, slippers and neck wraps along with plush toys.

The firm now plans to expand its offering with bespoke ranges in development for UK retailers in 2014.

Philip Gannon, founder of the Intelex Group, said: "The last few years has seen substantial growth in the heatable product sector.

"We have been proud to have contributed significantly to this growth. we have pushed our innovation agenda hard.

"We have seen success with retailers such as Debenhams, River Island and Sainsbury’s, for whom we are now creating bespoke ranges that are tailored to suit the needs of their customers. This is a growing area of the business that we intend to make more widely available in 2014."
